Mission Statement
The volunteer
services program supports the holistic care and comprehensive services offered
to Bosco Homes?clientele. The program fosters positive growth experiences,
which are firmly rooted in a cultural milieu of love for one another, mutual
respect and moral support, for both our clientele and volunteers. |
Profile
Our Bosco Homes Volunteer Services Program is headed by an appointed Volunteer
Coordinator. This coordinator recruits, supervises and helps evaluate
volunteers. Volunteers come to us from the community at large, or via Volunteer
Action Centres, educational institutions and staff acquaintances. Volunteers
who express interest in Bosco Homes are community-minded people interested in,
and enthusiastic about, sharing their time and skills with the children in our
care. They play an integral part in helping us heal and re-educate children and
families accessing our services.
|
To Become a Volunteer
Bosco Homes Volunteer Services program provides a broad range of opportunities
for volunteers. Individuals or groups can become directly involved with our
children, or indirectly, by sharing their time and talents. This helps us
ensure that the best possible resources are secured to help the children and
families we serve.

form, go through a personal interview and provide the following:
-
Consent to Release of Information for Child Welfare Information System (CWIS)
form (sent out by Bosco Homes)
-
A Criminal Records Check
