Raffle ticket sellers will advise adult ticket buyers not to write the name of a person under the age of 18 years on the ticket due to the requirements of the Public Trustee Act. 2.Tickets can be sold to all persons residing in the Province of Alberta including Bosco Homes A Society for Children and Families staff and Board of Directors. 3.A minimum of 21,000 tickets must be sold by September 30, 2010. If 21,000 tickets are not sold by that date, the Alberta Gaming and Liquor Commission will be approached for permission and approval for the extension of the raffle license until December 31, 2010. If the raffle does not reach a break even point by the extended date, discussions will be held with Alberta Gaming as to procedures.. 4.Prizes must be claimed within one year of the raffle date (October 31, 2011) allowing two additional weeks after the October 31, 2011 deadline for booking purposes. If a winner cannot be located within one year of the raffle date, an application will be made to the Alberta Gaming and Liquor Commission to have permission granted to donate the value of that prize to an approved charity. 5.Draw date is October 31, 2010 at Bosco Homes’ Administration Office, 6770 – 129 Avenue, Edmonton, Alberta by member(s) of the Board of Directors of Bosco Homes. 6.Prizes will be drawn in reverse order, starting with the eighth prize and ending with the first prize draw. The draw will be conducted for identical prizes first - which would be prizes 8,7,6 and 5. Those winning tickets will be photo-copied and placed back in the drum for all remaining prizes. 7.Prizes must be claimed. There is no “cash substitute in lieu of vacation prize;” however, winners can use the value of a prize for another destination of their choice, except for the Jasper Park Lodge Prizes. 8.There will be no refund on purchased tickets. 9.Rules for the lottery will be posted on the website @ www.boscohomes.ca. 10. The value of prizes on the ticket is the exact value of prizes awarded. All prices on the prizes exclude travel during the peek periods of Christmas and Spring Break. Prize winners claiming their prizes during these periods will be responsible for any price difference. 11. Winners will be notified by telephone and by mail with instructions on how to claim their prizes. Winners will also be posted on the Bosco Homes’ web site: www.boscohomes.ca. 12.In the event that a winning ticket stub lists more than one name on it, the licensee will award the prize to only one of the individuals identified on the ticket. The licensee and the Alberta Gaming & Liquor Commission are not responsible for resolving disputes which may arise between the different individuals.
